Zduńska Wola (*1964). Studied history at the Catholic University of Lublin between 1982 and 1987. 1987 - MA; 1995 - PhD (thesis under the supervision of professor Zygmunt Sułowski). Lives and works from 1996 in the Netherlands.1997-2003 Member of an international research project of the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO), De verschriftelijking van middeleeuwse sammenleving. From 1997 affiliated researcher at the University of Utrecht.
